16-24 year old students ready to transition into employment.
OVERVIEW OF COURSE:
This course is for students who are keen to transition into employment but need help to do so. Interns will access a work placement based with an employer. All placements act as a ‘working interview’ with a view to a paid job being offered at the end of the placement for all successful interns. In addition, interns access a core class day where they continue to improve their English, Maths and Work/Life skills and are also able to work towards relevant workplace qualifications e.g. First Aid, Health & Safety, Food hygiene. At the end of the programme the majority of interns
transition into employment.
