SUITABLE FOR:
Students aged 16-23 working towards a Supported Internship Programme but who need additional time to prepare for a transition into employment.
OVERVIEW OF COURSE:
This course is for students who are coming to the end of their time in education and who are almost ready to join a Supported Internship programme. Students access lessons to continue building on their literacy, numeracy and digital skills as well as their employability skills. Students also access a range of work tasters to support them in creating their ‘vocational profile’ based on real experiences. At the end of this course students will be in a position to apply for the Supported Internship programme.
